I made this for a rather interesting character. [The character] was blind, and had a very complicated personality and history; in short, she would suffer herself, if it would make her enemies suffer. She would rather bear her pain in silence, than admit to weakness, because weakness was wrong; punishable. She did a lot of the punishing. She was used to being strong and powerful and ass-whupping, and then she was blind, and she had trouble swallowing that one. So she built up walls, and never let anyone in. Her blindness was a secret. I tried to incorperate her unwillingness to open up, and the way she had payed for her habit of hurting others, even if it hurt herself. An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.
